If you’re like most people, Facebook is a big part of your life. It’s where you keep all your contact information and where you post updates about your day-to-day life. But if you want to delete all your Facebook messages, there are a few steps you need to take. First, open Facebook and sign in. Then click on the three lines in the top left corner of the main screen and select “Delete All Messages.” This will delete all your Facebook messages from your account. If you’ve been using Facebook for a while and have amassed a lot of messages, it might take some time for the deletions to happen. If everything is gone and you don’t see any notifications about the deletions, make sure to check your account settings and make sure that “Delete All Messages” is set to “Yes.”


Open the Facebook Messenger app on your phone. Tap and hold on to the conversation you don’t want any longer; then swipe to the left. Select Delete from the menu that appears. Confirm your decision by tapping Delete Conversation.

Tap and hold the message you want to delete on your phone. Select Remove afterward. When prompted, choose who you want to have access to the message by selecting Unsend or Yes. Confirm your decision when asked if you’re sure.
