If you’ve read any of my reviews, you know that I’m a big fan of Goodreads. I love reading books, and I love finding new authors to read. But sometimes, people might not like what they read. And that’s really frustrating. There are a few ways to delete a review on Goodreads:
- Click the “Delete Review” button at the top of the page. This will take you to a page where you can choose how to handle the review. You can either delete it completely, or just remove the author’s name from it.
- Click on the “Report Abuse” button at the bottom of the page. This will take you to a page where you can report someone for abuse. If someone has done something that makes you feel uncomfortable or angry, please report them!
To delete your review, you need to log in to your account. After logging in, go to the “Reviews” tab and then click on the “Delete” button next to the review you want to delete.
Yes, you can delete reviews you wrote. However, if the review has been seen by other users, it may not be possible to delete it. The best way to avoid this is to make sure that only people who need to see your reviews are able to see them.
To edit your review on Goodreads, you can either click the “edit” button at the top of your review and make changes to it, or if you’re reviewing a book that is already published and live on Goodreads, you can email [email protected] with the subject line “Book Review Feedback.”Please note: You can only edit reviews for books that are already published and live on Goodreads.

No, it is not illegal to delete bad reviews. However, if a company deletes a review in response to a lawsuit or legal request, they may be subject to penalties.
