If you have a Google account and want to delete it, there are a few steps you can take to do so without having to go through the hassle of resetting your password.

  1. Log into your Google account and click on the three lines in the top left corner of the main screen. This will open a menu with several options.
  2. The first option is called “Settings.” Click on this option and then select “Delete Account.”
  3. The next step is to enter your name and email address into the fields below. Click on “Delete Account” and then click on “Confirm deletion.” You will be asked to confirm that you want to delete your account. If you don’t want to delete your account, click on “No.”
  4. Once you have deleted your Google account, you will need to enter in your password for verification purposes. To do this, log into your Google account again and click on the three lines in the top left corner of the main screen. This will open a menu with several options again. This time, select “Verify Password.” In the next field, enter in your new password for verification purposes. Click on “Confirm password” and then click on “Enter new password.” You will be asked to enter a six-digit code that will be used for future logins onto your Google account.

Open the Settings app on your phone. Select Accounts from the drop-down menu. If you don’t see “Accounts,” select Users & accounts from the list. nSelect the account you’d want to delete. Delete account. If this is the only Google Account on your phone, you’ll need to confirm your pattern, PIN.

To begin, there is a difference between closing and deleting an account. Simply quitting a Google account from an Android or iPhone device merely disables access to that gadget, but any data saved through the account on the device will be lost.

You may call it “abandonment.” It’s typical for customers who want to get rid of their accounts at the moment, then find out later that they don’t need to shut them down at all. When you cancel your Google Account, it’s permanently removed from Google’s servers. As a result, any data linked with your Google account will be lost. Simply said, removing the account from your phone causes it to be deleted. It’s similar to logging out of your Google account.
