If you’ve ever deleted your Facebook account, you know how difficult it is to get it back. But if you’re like most people, you don’t know how to delete a Facebook account that you no longer have access to. Here’s how:

  1. Log into your Facebook account and click on the “Accounts” tab.
  2. Scroll down and click on the “Deactivate” button.
  3. Enter your password and click on the “Activate” button.
  4. Your Facebook account will be deactivated and you won’t be able to log in anymore.

To deactivate your account, go to Facebook’s settings and click Deactivate Account from the drop-down menu next to your name. Select Settings from the account menu in the upper right corner of any Facebook page. Manage Your Account is located at the bottom of the page. Click Deactivate Your Account after following those steps.

You must be able to access your Facebook account in order to deactivate or delete it permanently. If you can’t remember your login password, there are a few options available to you through Facebook to reset it and get back into your account. You may close your account temporarily or permanently after entering.

There is no limit to how long a person may have her account disabled on Facebook. However, if a Facebook user truly wants to terminate the connection permanently, she has the option of deleting her account altogether.

Go to your Facebook account settings and choose edit information. Click Deactivation and deletion. Select Permanently Delete Account from the drop-down menu, then go on to account deletion.

Start the Facebook app on your Android device. Tap the three-lined icon (hamburger menu). Choose Settings & Privacy from the drop-down menu. From the settings screen, choose Account Ownership and Control. Deactivation and deletion are options you can select from here. Delete your account by selecting it and hitting Remove Account from the drop?
