There are a few things you need to do in order to create and delete a company in Tally. First, you will need to create a company account. Once you have created your account, you will need to select the company type that you would like to create. Next, you will need to select the location where your company should be located. Finally, you will need to provide some basic information about your business such as its name, address, and phone number. Once these details are provided, you will be able to create your company and begin trading!
Go to the Gateway of Tally > Accounts Info. > Groups > Change ( under Single Group ) Choose the name of the group required from the List of Groups shown.
Go to the Gateway of Tally’s Accounts Info area and click Groups > Alter ( under Single Group ). Select a group from the List of Groups. Click D: Delete. Confirm by clicking Yes.
In the company information screen, choose Alter Menu from the drop-down menu. You’ve arrived at the company change form. Select Yes or Press Enter or Y on your keyboard from the options available. ‘Are you sure? will be asked in the next confirmation message; this means that your business has removed it.
Create a company by going to Gateway of Tally > Alt + F3 > Create Company. Enter the basic information, such as name, mailing name and address, currency symbol, and so on. Select Accounts Only or Accounts with Inventory in the ‘maintain field’ according to the company’s needs.
To display the address of Tally’s Gateway, press Alt + F3 (Cmp Info). make any needed modifications to the Company Alteration screen. accept the changes. Press Ctrl + A to save as usual.
