If you’re like most people, you keep your iCloud contacts in a safe place. But if you ever lose your phone or it’s stolen, you’ll need to find and delete all of your contact data. To do this, you’ll need to create a new iCloud account and enter your contact information. Then, open the Accounts app and click on the three lines in the top left corner. On the left side of the screen, you’ll see a list of all of your current iCloud accounts. Click on the one that corresponds to your current phone number. You’ll then be able to delete all of your contact data from that account.

Unnecessary account syncing should be turned off. Manually remove undesirable contacts. Merge duplicate contacts using a contact merge tool.

Go to your iCloud settings and make sure Contacts is turned on. turn on Contacts. When you’re asked whether you want to Merge or Cancel the operation, select Merge.

Go to the iCloud website and sign in to your account. On the Contacts page, select all of the people you want to remove. Then click the gear icon in the bottom-left corner and then Delete once you’ve got them all selected.

If your contacts are stored only on your phone when iCloud is “off” for them, with the slider white and all of your contacts still on your phone, then you’ve found a way to keep them. This is terrific until you break your phone. Your contacts will be lost forever if you turn iCloud off on it.

Open the Contact App on your Mac. After that, select Menu Bar from the top menu bar and then Card, then Look for Duplicates. On the screen, a prompt will appear with the option to Merge or delete multiple duplicates.
