If you’re a Roku user, there’s a good chance you’ve heard of the company and its devices. Roku is a streaming media player that can be connected to your TV or computer. It has a library of movies, TV shows, and other content that you can watch on your computer or TV. You can also use it to watch live streaming video from certain services like Netflix and Hulu. There are two ways to change your Roku account: through the web browser or through the app on your phone or tablet. The first way is more convenient because it’s available from any device that has an internet connection. The second way is more difficult but can be done if you have an account with one of the streaming services like Netflix or Hulu. To change your Roku account through the web browser:

  1. Log in to your Roku account using your username and password (if you have one). If you don’t have an account, create one now.
  2. Click on “Settings” in the top left corner of the main screen. This will take you to a page where you’ll need to select “Accounts.” In this section, select “New Account.” 3) Enter your new username and password (if different from what’s used for your current account). If everything looks correct, click on “Create Account.” 4) Your new Roku account will be created and will be listed in the Accounts section of “Settings.”

All you have to do is: Log into your account at my.roku.com on your computer or phone. Find the device you want to unlink in the My Account page’s “My linked devices” table.

If you’re having difficulties signing in to your Roku account, contact the email linked with your account and request a password reset.

The only way to log out of your Roku account is to wipe your device completely. If your Roku has a reset button, hold it down for approximately 20 seconds until the power LED begins to flash, then release the button.

On your computer or smartphone, visit my.roku.com. If prompted, sign in. Find the device below My linked devices by scrolling down. Unlink it by selecting Unlink and confirming the option.

If you link a Roku device to your existing Roku account, any content that has been downloaded on the previous Roku device will be available across all of your linked devices. Although it is not necessary, linking all of your devices to a single account ensures that you can access previously purchased material on other connected televisions. You may add or link a new Roku.
