Apple IDs are essential for many activities on your Apple device, such as buying products and services, accessing your account information, and more. But if you ever lose or forget your Apple ID, you’ll need to find a new one quickly. Here’s how to change your Apple ID on one device:

  1. Open the Settings app and select General > Accounts > Apple ID.
  2. In the Accounts section, click the link to create a new Apple ID.
  3. Enter your name and password in the fields below and click OK to create your new Apple ID.
  4. To use your new Apple ID, open the Settings app and select General > Accounts > Apple ID again. You’ll now see a list of devices that have been linked to your old Apple IDs (if any). If you’ve never used an oldAppleID before, please enter them in the “New Device” field and click OK to link them up with your new one.

You must have a new Apple ID to create your new account. To combine your data, go Merge. You may each visit icloud.com and delete the other person’s information from your account after making significant changes to make it more readable and grammatical.
