If you’re a Mac user, there are a few ways to change parental controls on your computer. The first is to open the System Preferences app and select the Parental Controls tab. There you’ll find a list of options that can be changed, including how often your child can access the computer and how much screen time they can have. The second way to change parental controls is to use the AppleScripts app. This app is available in the App Store and can be downloaded from Apple’s website. Once installed, open it and click on the Scripts button. From here, you’ll need to type in a few lines of code that will change parental controls on your computer. The third way to change parental controls is through the command line interface. To do this, open Terminal and type sudoedit . This will open a new window that will allow you to change many different aspects of your computer’s parental controls.
Open the System Preferences menu by selecting Apple from the top-right corner of your screen. Then choose Screen Time from the drop-down menu. Choose a family member if you’re in a Family Sharing group. In the sidebar, select Content & Privacy. If Content & Privacy Restrictions are disabled, click Turn On to enable them.
Parental Controls can be bypassed without admin authorization. Turn off the computer by holding down on the power button or clicking the Apple icon and then selecting Shut Down. If you no longer have access to your administrative account, use this technique only.
Select “System Preferences…” from the Apple logo at the top left corner of the screen. 2. Select the Parental Controls icon (it’s a yellow circle with two stick figures inside it, in the bottom row) from the window that appears.
On the fourth row, click Users & Groups. On the bottom left, lock and authenticate with an administrator account. After your modifications are allowed, choose the user you’d like to limit on the left side and check to Enable parental controls.
Open the System Preferences menu. Select Users & Groups from the drop-down menu. In the lower-left corner, click the lock symbol. Enter your Admin password after that. Unlock by selecting From the left column and deselecting any account you don’t want to be affected by parental controls.
