This policy allows members to change their address for free if they move within the company’s boundaries. But what if you don’t live within Costco’s boundaries? What if you need to change your address because of a job relocation or other reasons? Here are some tips on how to change your address for Costco:
- Go to your membership card account and look for the “change address” option. This will list all of your current addresses as well as the new address that you’ll be moving to.
- Enter the new address into your membership card account and click on “submit.” You’ll then be asked to provide some additional information, such as your current phone number and email address.
- Once everything is complete, you’ll receive an email notification with instructions on how to update your membership card account and get started on moving!
Costco also offers extra features to customers who shop online with Costco that they don’t get when shopping through third-party retailers. For example, customers who buy items directly from Costco are often able to purchase products at a discount if they opt for in-store pickup rather than delivery or allow an order to be shipped in several packages instead of one larger oversize package. Costco’s gift registry is available to Costco members online, and offers Costco members free shipping on prepaid return labels for Costco purchases. Costco also provides its customers with the option of registering their Costco purchases online for an additional fee that is applied as a credit toward future purchases. Costco members can register their purchases online with Costco for a one-time payment by credit card or set up a recurring payment plan.
Costco also offers great deals to Costco Rewards Visa cardholders who shop through Costco’s website. For example, if you use your Costco card to make a purchase through Costco, you may be eligible to receive an additional 1% back in cash rewards compared to what other non-Visa purchasing customers receive at moneypass locations. Choose Account Details under “My Account.” Locate the “Sign-in Information” area and select “Edit” next to “Email Address.” Enter your new email address. Select the green button labeled, ‘Update’ to complete the process.
