If you’re like most people, you use Evernote to keep track of important notes and ideas. But if you ever find yourself struggling to cancel an Evernote account or remove items from your account, here are some tips to help you get the most out of your Evernote experience.

  1. First, make sure that you have the correct Evernote password. If you don’t have it, create a new one and remember it well.
  2. Next, open the Evernote app on your computer or device and sign in with your Evernote password. If you’ve never used Evernote before, create an account and choose a default username and password.
  3. Once you’ve signed in, click on the three lines in the top left corner of the main screen and select “Cancel.” You’ll be asked to confirm this action before canceling your account.
  4. After canceling your account, be sure to close all of your devices including your computer or device! This will prevent any future changes or updates from affecting your data on those devices.

In File Explorer, go to the directory where you saved your Evernote notes (. eev or . exb ). There all the files with the “. exb” extension represent your Evernote database. Delete them and no trace of Evernote will remain.
