Facebook has been in the news lately for all the wrong reasons. The latest controversy surrounds allegations that Facebook deletes accounts of users who criticize the company. Is this true? Facebook has always been a controversial company. Its founder, Mark Zuckerberg, is one of the richest people in the world and his company is worth an estimated $500 billion. But despite its immense wealth, Facebook has been accused of censorship numerous times. In March 2018, a video of a woman being dragged off a United Airlines flight went viral on social media. The woman had been speaking out against United Airlines’ treatment of passengers and was subsequently banned from Facebook. Shortly after her account was deleted, reports emerged that her account had actually been deleted by Facebook staff rather than by United Airlines. This isn’t the first time that Facebook has come under fire for deleting user accounts without their consent or knowledge. In November 2017, it was reported that dozens of conservative political activists’ accounts had been deleted without warning or explanation. Many of these activists were members of groups such as Patriot Prayer and Proud Boys, which are known for their far-right views. So is it true that Facebook deletes accounts if users criticize the company? It seems like this could be true - after all, Facebook is a private company and it’s not obliged to explain its actions to users or answer their questions. If you’re unhappy with how your account is being handled by Facebook, it might be best to avoid criticizing the company online - at least until more information about these allegations becomes available ..

How To Delete Your Facebook Account (2021)

What will happen if I permanently delete my Facebook account? Your profile, photographs, comments, videos, and everything else you’ve added will be permanently removed. You won’t be able to retrieve anything you’ve posted. You’ll no longer be able to use Facebook Messenger.

Log in to the email account you used as your Facebook sign-on name. You should receive a confirmation email from Facebook regarding the deletion of your account.

Click the upper right corner of Facebook. Select Settings & Privacy from the drop-down menu. Click Your Facebook Information in the left column. Select Deactivation and Deletion from the drop-down menu. Then, under Permanently Delete Account, select Continue to Account Deletion and click Done.

Your account and all your information will be permanently erased after 30 days, and you won’t be able to retrieve it. It might take up to 90 days for everything you’ve posted to get deleted.

Because a Facebook account that has been permanently deleted cannot be recovered, all of the data in the account is lost completely. Because your old messages are now disconnected from your account, you can establish another one at any time.
