Facebook has a policy of notifying users when their data is deleted, but some users are asking if they can get Facebook to delete their data even if the user doesn’t request it. Some people believe that Facebook could delete their data even if they don’t ask for it, because Facebook is a company that relies on user data to function. If you’re concerned about Facebook deleting your data, you can try to contact the company and ask them to stop using your information.

It will take Facebook 90 days to erase all of your account information from its servers. For the first 30 days, you may still log in and cancel your request to delete your account. Your account will be reactivated, and it will seem as if you never left.

Click on your name in the upper right-hand corner to see your profile. Scroll down just a bit until the menu option appears in the left-hand corner of your screen. Choose whether you want to view posts from month, date, or year. Tap on the three dots next to each item, delete?

Facebook claims it keeps “backup copies for a reasonable amount of time” after deletion, and that this can range from three months to three years. It says it may keep pieces of deleted accounts’ information, but that personal identifiers are removed.

Delete a message on your phone by tapping and holding it. Then pick Remove. When asked who you want to remove the message for, select Unsend. When asked if you’re sure you want to remove it, confirm your decision.

When you remove data or storage from an app, it also destroys the data linked with it. And when that happens, your app will operate like a brand-new one. You’ll have to login again, give required permissions, change notification settings, and so on. The app updates will not be removed upon clearing data.
